This tintype is Joe Clements when he was in the Civil War on the Confederate side. It was given to me as a gift from Bobby McNellis of El Paso, Texas. Bobby was the man (actually boy at the time) who discovered and bought the Hardin trunk from a Clements relative in El Paso. In that trunk was the Hardin album, guns, cards, personal items that collectors hold so dear today. Bobby found virtually ALL of it. This photograph was with the Hardin album but given to me by Bobby PRIOR to selling the album to Bobby McNellis.
