This is the original tintype photograph (ORIGINAL NOT A COPY!) of the preciously published image of Archie Clement (left) and Frank James (right) taken in 1866 (Archie was killed this same year). It came from the Robert James family in the 1940's, I believe. Carl Breihan first published it in one of his books. It is not disputable! Frank James, in a newspaper interview after he surrendered, also described THIS photograph and said there was TWO of them. This one standing and another one with Archie sitting in a chair with Frank standing behind him. That photo has never been found to my knowledge.
