Obviously, I like Apache Indian scout and police images. This is a stereo by E.W. Pierce. It is a rather larger group of scouts and police in uniform on one of the Apache reservations during the Apache Wars of the 1880s. This is the only copy of this stereo I have been able to acquire. These stereos were very popular as they were sold all over the country to Americans who read newspaper accounts about the Wars but had never even seen an Indian.
