This cabinet image is Ided on the back as Gust Berlin. He may have been a Show cowboy and the dog was part of his act. I have no idea although it seem reasonable. At any rate, he is decked outin cowboy hat, bib shirt, fringed chaps , bandana, boots, spurs, lasso and quirt. He is wearing his side arm on his left side and a hunting knife on his right. This is a typical image of a cowboy of the 1890s period but in this case NOT staged. everything here seems to be his own.
