It is of Georgian Cossack trick rider Luca Chkhartishvili who was an entertainer in the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show in Madison Square Garden New York in 1897. It is signed in Cyrillic on the back. The Cossacks were exceptional riders and thrilled the audiences. It is also a RARE image from the Capt. Hugh Thomason collection.
