This is a albumen stereo view of the famous George Custer scout Curley standing at the Custer Monument at the Little Big Horn battle field location. He is holding his old rifle as this is a number of years later. Curley was one of the very few to have survived. You can read about him on the internet. The stereo was produced by Northern Pacific Views and the photographer was the famous photographer HAYNES in Montana and North Dakota. It is quite a rare stereo to find. I am lucky to have found one at all.
