Original photograph of Alvira, "Allie", Earp wife of Virgil Earp. The image is dated on the back as 1879, Tombstone. This was the time that Virgil arrived there. The image is directly from the Earp family. When Virgil was shot and wounded in Tombstone, Allie sat on the train back to Colton, California with two Colts belted to her waist to protect Virgil from further attack. And, she would have done just that. She was a strong and deeply devoted wife to Virgil and adored him.
