The United States Deputy Marshals under Judge Parker in the Indian and Oklahoma Territory had a tough time chasing down an area infested with outlaws in the 1890-1900 period. Captain Willie was wanted for the murder of a Deputy U.S. Marshal in Oklahoma Territory. Caption on front says : "Captain Willie, DUSM (Deputy U.S. Marshal) Murder of". Image taken by C.P. Rich, O (Oklahoma) Ter. On the back is written: "Presented to Geo A. Yoes, Deputy Marshal for his bravery during the fight which followed the capture of the noted outlaw Captain Willie by U.S. Marshal Grimes, Oklahoma, Aug. 24, 1892".
