Very interesting cabinet photograph of a cowboy or frontiersman taken in a studio with a Mountain backdrop.  Main interest here is that he has a Indian tacked rifle in a fringed leather sheath. He is also wearing beaded Indian moccasins.  Rifles were often carried in similar buckskin sheaths to protect them but few show up in early photographs.  This is 1880-1890 period.  There is no photographer's mark or location.
