Roy Daugherty, Alias Arkansas Tom was a member of the Wild Bunch Gang. He first worked as a cowboy in Oklahoma Territory and then met outlaw Bill Doolin. He joined the Doolin gang in 1892. He was involved in several robberies. He killed Deputy Marshal Thomas Hueston in 1893 and was captured by Deputy Marshal Jim Masterson. Daugherty got 50 years in jail but was paroled in 1910. Robbed a bank in 1917 in Neosho, Missouri, captured, jailed and released in 1921. He robbed another bank shortly after his release. Finally killed in a gun fight by Joplin Police Detective Len Vandeventer on August 16, 1924. He was a very bad man.
