Albumen cabinet photograph taken by T.N. Barnard, Wardner, Idaho. The image is dated 1888 on the back. The two men look similar in the faces so I am assuming it is father and son. Dad is seated in western clothing of the 1880s period and wears a Colt SAA in a slim jim holster. The son is standing and wears common clothing with high boots. He has what appears to be a Colt birds head lightening in his holster and he holds a Remington single shot 45/70 rifle. They may have been in town for the day from their ranch and had their "picture took".
