Charming cabinet photograph of 3 year old Irma Cody, daughter of Buffalo Bill and his wife Louisa. It was taken in 1886. Writing on back of image states "Irma Cody Garlow". Believed to have been taken in Denver, Colorado. It is exceptionally rare and may be the only copy extant. Images of Cody are common but images of his family are almost non existant. This is a great one. It descended from the Buffalo Bill family to Arta Cody Garlow to Cody's great Granddaughter Patsy Garlow. Later sold with other family images.
