CDV size cabinet image of C. P. Higgins ( Christopher Powers Higgins).   He was a Yankee Army Captain and later became a partner with Frank Worden to found Hellgate Trading Post and Missoula, Montana Territory.  He erected one of the first lumber and flower mills on the Clark Fort River.  He was one of the first county commissioners, member of the first legislature of M.T.    He died in 1889.
