This is a real photo post card taken by John Tackett at Coffeville, Kansas in 1892 of Bob(left) and Grat(right) Dalton. Their dead bodies are being held up by an officer and townspeople after they were killed in the famous Coffeeville, Kansas attempted bank robbery on October 5, 1892. It is from the personal archives of John Tackett. It was owned by Jim and Therese Earl in their collection. This RPPC dates circa 1900. It has been published many times but it is rare to find a copy these days.
