Unidentified cabinet photograph by Burns, La Plata, Mo. circa 1880s. It is of a trick rider. He is showing how he can ride a running horse while suspended on its side. It was a trick some early Missouri guerrillas performed in CW battles and later entertainers did in shows. I have never seen another image of this trick.
