The photographer of this image is noted as Ocala Photo Co., Ocala Florida. However, someone has disputed where this is by written in period ink, "Picture taken in Kansas or Utah". On the back, each cowboy is identified and that the cows belonged to a W.R. Davis. They are in the act of branding on the ranch. The interesting thing here is that the cowboys are armed while working which was rare. Dates in 1890's.
