rare image of a Navajo Chief. His name is not identified nor does the image have a photographer's mark. It is a small, mounted image. He wears a beautiful Indian blanket (probably a chief's blanket). He holds what looks like a Burgess rifle and wears a holstered Colt with a solid ivory handle. Navajo armed Indians are rare in photography of this period (1880's).
