Wild West Shows also has what we now call, side shows. This was a side show event of a Cowboy knife thrower and his assistant. His name was Montana Jack and her's Nellie Whiteford. This photograph was taken May 20, 1909 in Pomeroy, NY. Photograph was taken by Wendt, Boonton, NJ. Most Wendt albumen images are faded. He was not very good at the albumen process in development. But it is an important image in the whole history of the Wild West Shows.
