This is a tintype photograph from the Robert James family (son of Frank James) who had possession of his father's trunk when he lived on the James farm. Robert sold many things out of the trunk to two or three collectors who visited him and bought from him in the 1940's. This image is a bit later than the previous, teenage image I just posted. He is possible 20 years old or so.
