Typical cabinet photograph of Capt. A.H. Bogardus and his family. These are fairly common to find. Bogardus and his three sons were exhibition and trick shots. They traveled in the United States and Europe for years. Bogardus accepted a challenge from Doc Carver for a series of shotgun shoot outs most of which Bogardus lost. However, he was a great glass ball champion in his own right.
