Lillian Smith was a champion rifle shot by the time she was 13 years old. She was discovered by Buffalo Bill and worked for him along side of Annie Oakley for many years. She later worked on the 101 Ranch shows. She also did many exhibitions throughout her life. This cabinet Is titled "The Celebrated California Rifle Shot. Buffalo Bill's Wild West ". She is just a teenager here in fact. This is a particularly sharp and clear image and a woodbury type. It is a very well known and published image.
