A few times in a life time you hit a BIG one. Here is one of them. This is one of the finest tintype, early images of James Butler "Wild Bill" Hickok ever found. I am the first to publish it. It was taken in 1867. Left is Robert Denbow and right is James Butler Hickok. Hickok and Denbow were on a buffalo hunt two years after the Civil War. It was purchased directly from members of the Hickok family prior to 1900. Value historically is enormous. Value in dollars today is in the top collectors range.
