This is an original tintype of William "Tulsa Jack" Blake. It was in his personal effects on his body when he was killed by law enforcement officers in 1895. Tulsa Jack was a member of the Doolin and Doolin-Dalton gangs. He was killed in Oklahoma Territory in Major County by a posse led by Deputy Marshal William Bartling Murrill. The gun battle lasted 45 minutes. Deputy Murrill made the fatal shot that brought this bank and train robber down.
