I have had this image since the 1980s and shown it to no one. In contemporary ink above his head is printed "This is Tom Horn. He Will Hang!". On the back of the cabinet  is printed "Nov. 20, 1903. TOM HORN. He will hang and a drawing of a noose." Pasted to this image is a typed history which reads as follows:

" Tom Horn, Ex Cowboy, Indian Scout, convicted Killer of 14 year old Willie Nickell in July 18, 1901. Tom Horn was hanged Nov. 20, 1903. This picture to the left (was originally framed with an early magazine article) is a picture of Horn while his stay in Wyoming. It was bought from Mr. Norm Fladerman (sic) , South Hallow, Conn. in 1958".  When I received it, it was in a falling apart old frame. I removed this image from the frame in order to preserve it from further damage. I think this photograph may well be of Horn but cannot prove it further than its provenance being sold by Flayderman, one of the most honest dealers and important collectors for many, many years. A man I personally knew, dealt with and admired. I did not look for other's opinions and I am not looking now. I think the image is intriguing and I am very fond of it.
