This photograph looks familiar to me; possibly Doc Carver. However, I am not certain so I will call him just a buckskin Scout. He wears fringed buckskin clothing; shirt and pants. His shirt is also beaded as well as his pants. The fringe is particularly long. He wears decorated moccasins. He has a thoughtful expression on his face. He holds a 1873 Winchester rifle. The backdrop for the photograph is very plain. It was taken by E.L. Eaton, Omaha, Nebraska.
