This albumen photograph is identified on the back as Harry Bower. The photograph was taken by Bishoff Bros in Minneapolis, Kansas. It is also marked EXTRA FINISH which meant a slight gloss protection of the image. Sometimes, the importance of an image is where it was taken. Kansas is a good cowboy state. He has a worn cowboy hat, a dark shirt, cuffs to protect his arms when riding through the brush, shotgun chaps, boot, spurs and a Colt in a single loop holster.
