The title on this stereo is misleading at best. The child is NOT an Indian. The Indian is probably an Apache. The child is a white captive boy. I think it was one who was well known in the area as I have seen another image of him. Apaches liked to kidnap white or hispanic children and use them as, essentially, slaves.
