This small cabinet image of May Lillie came in a group of personal family images sold a few years ago. May is back stage during one of the Pawnee Bill Shows. She is very young. She is preparing to mount her horse and make her appearance. The man holding her horse was the cowboy who took care of all of the show's horses. I have never seen this image before and it may well be unique and not made for the public. It shows a rare moment caught by the photographer. No marks of any kind are on this image front or back.
