I really like this photograph! It is a cabinet image of Cody's young daughter Arta taken when she was 13 or 14 years old. She appears happy and beautiful. This was the family's personal photograph of Arta and never meant for the public. For years it was in the Cody museum. It descended from Cody to his daughter Irma Cody Garlow and finally to his great granddaughter Patsy Garlow after being removed from the Cody museum by the family with other family images. Thense sold to the public so we can finally see it ourselves.
