Two cabinet photos taken in the same photography session. They are of the same man identified as N.P. Thompson taken by a photographer named Brown & Co. Valparaiso, Indiana. They are obviously for a Wild West Show entertainer of the 1880-1890 period. In the first photograph on the left, he is shown shooting with his gun turned upside down. He has his complete western saddle and gear and FOUR rifles displayed at his side so he was a trick shot with both rifle and pistol alike. He is dressed in full western clothing and has two hats. In the second photograph, he is standing in front of his saddle and has removed one holster and ivory handled revolver, cartridge belt, and bone handled bowie in its sheath and draped them over the same four rifles stacked behind him. He is displaying the famous trick shot behind him by using a mirror he is holding in his right hand. He is wearing a different hat.  The images are albumens.
