This is a nice cabinet photo of A. O. Babel. He has all the Cowboy costume he could gather together, including a ivory handled Colt Revolver and single shot rifle. However, he was NEVER a cowboy. He was trained from childhood as a piano player. His father was a musician and taught him for years. He evidently was very successful in many venues he played in and the Cowboy "hoop la" helped him advertise himself well. His cowboy gear is First rate making him a valuable collector's image.
