I am a Texan. The Alamo is sacred to me. Especially these days. Here is an excellent image of the Alamo in the 1890-1900 period. Note the building to the left. It was a business named the "Alamo Building". It was torn down many years ago. Images showing it next to the Alamo are rare to find today. Cabinet photograph taken by M.E.
