Frank Lyman Worden was a Montana Pioneer, founder of Missoula, Montana.    He moved in 1860 with C.P. Higgins to Montana and opened up store in Hell Gate, Washington Territory.     Later they both moved to what is now Missoula and opened up the town's first store, Worden and Company.     After that they established several trading posts in Mining areas.     In 1863, he moved to Deer Lodge and opened a store and in 1866 he established a sawmill and gristmill.     Worden and Higgins sold their business interests in 1868.     Moving to Missoula he and Higgins and J. McCormick build bridges, waterworks, and a bank.     His company, Worden and Co., merged with Murphy, Hart and Company in 1886.     He died in 1887.
