Original tintype of Aaron Forrest (1833-1864), brother of General Nathan Bedford Forrest. This image came from the Bradley estate in Memphis, Tenn. He started service as a Captain in the 6th Battalion of the Mississippi State Troops. He was involved in the Expedition of the Yazoo Pass in 1863. He did not survive the War dying of pneumonia in 1864.
