On the back is the following: "17 years old, who carried to Modelia the first intelligence that the Northfield Robbers were in that vircinity. Photo taken Sept. 21, 1876. Photographed by E. F. Everitt, Mankato, Minn. Suborn changed to Sorbel after Younger episode". The media harassed the kid so much he had to change his name to keep a private life (just like today). This image is from the Wilbur Zink auction and I bought it.
