Another photograph with a story to tell if you could find it. It is Identified as White Wolf, Indian Medicine Man. He is obviously a white man in buckskin Indian dress. I believe he is probably some sort of snake oil medicine salesman or promoter. This photograph was probably sold as a souvenir or advertisement. He is great though. Look at those duds! Buckskin jacket and pants; fringed beaded, and decorated. He wears some sort of horn necklace and hold a beautiful bow case and arrows in HIS left hand. In his right hand he holds a Winchester rifle. He has a Bowie knife stuck in his belt and wears a possible Remington revolver in a holster on his left hand side with the handle facing out. Finally, he has a blanket draped over his right shoulder. The photograph was taken by Garrison Bros, Fort Dodge, Iowa.
