This is an unmounted extra finished albumen image of the Northfield, Minn. bank robbed by the Jesse James/Younger gang in 1876. The image was taken by Sumner Studio, Northfield, Minn. This image is a bit later but essentially as it was when robbed. The bank is on the back, left side corner of this main building. The door was in the middle of the three arches in that back corner ( where the horse and wagon is standing in the street). Images in this period are now hard to find. There are better ones but I was glad to obtain any. This one is from the Zink collection.
