Here is an early, 1880's albumen image of three young Indian men. The back of the image is period identified as "The McLeish Murderers". The seated man is identified as Moise Resette and the standing man on the right is identified as James Gaddie. These are their white man names but they are also, obviously American Indian by race. I have never been able to find out who they are or anything about the crime. I do know that the image is from Montana Territory.
