This is my copy of the Dodge City Police Commission. As I have said, "you takes em how you gits em". I believe this copy was printed from the negative to be used to produce a drawing for a newspaper article in the 1880's. It is a albumen image on a plain, cut down mount. It is the Iconic and Famous image of the Dodge City Peace Commission in 1883. This old copy is somewhat faded. I believe it was made in the 1880's after the original was made.  Front: (l to r) Charles E. Bassett, Wyatt Earp, Frank McLain and Neil Brown. Back (l-r) W.H. Harris, Luke Short, and W.B. Masterson.  There are two versions. In another version, W.F. Petillon is standing by Masterson. I have had it since the 1970's. I am very proud of it.
