This original photograph is very famous. It was taken of the Hole in The Wall Gang in Fort Worth, Texas. A few were made for public consumption and marked by the Fort Worth photographer for sale. This one was  one of the 2 dozen or more copies ordered by the Pinkertons to be distributed across the country with a reward for their capture. This is a documented FACT.  There is no photographer's mark or mounting as none was needed. The image was ABSOLUTELY pulled from the original negative during the time of being taken. The clarity is perfectly sharp in detail almost as if they were alive today. It was found in the dead file of a defunct newspaper in Portland, Oregon in the 1970s. It has a typed ID on the back which has been glued on. The funny thing is the identifications are WRONG. They misidentified them. The real identification is: Seated, left to right, Harry Longbaugh (The Sundance Kid), Ben Kilpatrick, and Butch Cassidy (George Parker). Standing in the back, left to right: Bill Carver and Harvey Logan. I have seen much later and less clear copies sell for 2-3 thousand dollars. This one is priceless to me. The bottom of the image has been trimmed at their feet. I could not care less.
