Cody with Prize Fighter Jeff Jeffries

This stained, fading old Wild West Show image still has great historical content. I have had it for 30 years. It was taken back of tents at the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show. Cody is on the left and Champ Jeff Jefferies stands beside him on the right. George Birch, Chief of Cowboys is behind Jefferies. Next to Birch is "Red Headed" Tom Isabel, a Cherokee Indian, next to Isabel is Cody's Coachman (an Englishman) and next to the Englishman Is Tommy Ryan (Jefferies Trainer). Cody loved prize fighting and the fighters. He met several of the Champs over the years.
