Johnny Baker was Buffalo Bill Cody's Foster son. They were very close. He became a trick shot and all around Wild West Show entertainer under Cody and after Cody's death. He traveled in tours of the United States and Europe. This image is dated on the back 1903. He is dressed to the nines probably to visit royalty there. This image was part of Buffalo Bill's personal collection. It descended to Cody's daughter Irma Cody Garlow and finally to his great granddaughter Patsy Garlow. Afterwards this image and a group of others were sold out to the Public.
